Twin sisters give birth on same day, doctor shocked when he sees babies

The doctor and these sisters are left speechless by this interesting detail

For starters, being pregnant at the same time as your sister is a unique experience. But the story of American twin sisters Becky Pistone and Rachael McGeoch goes a little further. Not only did the sisters give birth an hour apart, but the doctor noticed an incredible detail after the babies were born.

Identical twins

Becky and Rachel are identical twins: they look a lot alike. But their personalities go hand in hand too. The sisters have the same hobbies and group of friends and were very close since they were little. As children, they even wore necklaces with their names on because even their parents couldn't tell them apart!

But years later, when Becky and Rachael had children of their own, something special happened...

Apparently only twins have this

Becky and Rachael's story is amazing. But the close bond they have is more common. If you know twins, you may have noticed this before. Siblings seem to have a different way of communicating with each other that doesn't necessarily involve words. These twins, who got pregnant at the same time can attest to that.

Researchers have done a lot of studies to understand what is going on between the twins. It seems the two have a better idea of each other than "normal" siblings, but it's hard to explain why. Some people think it's telepathy: twins may be able to sense what the other is thinking or feeling, even when they're not in the same room!

Trading Tip

As we have already said, twins have a bond that goes beyond the normal bond of a brother and a sister. Sometimes it seems like there's a sixth sense that only twins have that helps them understand each other better than anyone else. This was also the case for Becky and Rachael. From birth, the two were inseparable. Because they looked so alike, the two often "changed their names," because teachers and even some family members couldn't tell them apart. They took advantage of it quite often.

If there was a math test, for example, Becky would do it for both. Whereas Rachael, with her talent for languages, would take the same language test twice using two names. In this way, they used their talents to help each other. These talents also became the reason the two would miss each other later in life.

At first it didn't go well when the sisters first drifted apart.
